I have started to take pictures of light and shadow. I have tried to relate it to Uta Barths work, shown below, with the couch and the shadow of the window.
What is working? The light and shadow showed up nicely and made its form.
What's not working? I think the way the photograph is taken is not working. I'm standing in the wrong position. I just roughly took the picture with no idea of how I was going to take it. I also think the colour is not working.
What's next? Take different kinds of shadow forms from different vantage points. Plan out where I will be standing and know what to add and not to add into the photograph.
